Disc One

- The Civil War (April 12, 1861 - May 9, 1865): From the opening shots at Fort Sumter and the first taste of battle at Manassas to the three days at Gettysburg.

- The Spanish-American War (April 25, 1898 - August 12, 1898): The first time American soldiers fought on foreign lands. Witness the US Navy's stunning victory over the Spanish Fleet at the Battle of Manila Bay.

Disc Two

- World War I (July 28, 1914 - November 11, 1918): "The necessity of making the world safe for democracy" compelled America to enter World War I following the shocking U-Boat attack and sinking of the Lusitania with many Americans on board.

Disc Three

- World War II (September 1, 1939 - September 2, 1945): Japan joins Germany and Italy to become the third part of the Axis Powers. The Americans remain neutral until the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor killing over 3,000 Americans.

Disc Four

- The Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953): Communist North Korea, backed by China, invades South Korea. United Nations forces (led by Americans) strike back. It's a new kind of war for America, which lost 34,000 troops in just 3 years.

Disc Five

- The Vietnam War (1962 to 1975): The US fought to help South Vietnam resist Communist forces. 1976 saw the creation of "The Socialist Republic of Vietnam."

Disc Six

- Desert Storm (August 1, 1990 - February 1991): The Gulf War was the US response to the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq's dictator, Saddam Hussein.
