Working on the range, he falls for pretty Margery Jarvis, the owner's daughter. Out riding, she happens across the rustlers switching brands on stolen cattle. The thieves take her captive and bring her to their remote cabin stronghold. Gene arms himself to the teeth and rides off alone into the outlaw's lair, determined to rescue his lady love. Starring Leo Maloney, Pauline Curley, Edward Burns and Bud Osborne. Directed by Ford Bebe.

Across The Plains (1928): With the promise of a high-paying job, pretty Helen Williams travels across the country to White Sage, a remote cow-town on the desert's edge. On arrival, she learns that the employment offer was a scam. Out of money, she is forced to work in the saloon, peddling dances and drinks to drunken cowpokes. Honest cowpuncher Pawnee Bill falls for Helen and vows to find a way to free her from the life of depravity into which she has fallen. Starring Pawnee Bill, Jr. (Ted Wells), Ione Reed, and Jack Richardson. Directed by Robert J. Horner.
