UNFORTUNATELY, THIS ITEM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.Calling All Cars was created in 1933 by young screenwriter William N. Robeson, who later went on to fame with such notable radio series as Suspense. Calling All Cars was based on actual and recent crimes, and was the father of later police procedural series - most notably Dragnet and, indirectly, Gang Busters. While it was an anthology series with no consistent performers, the show did use real policemen to introduce the crime story for that evening’s broadcast.
