 FIRST NIGHTER PROGRAM
"The Little Theater off Times Square" opened its doors on December 4, 1930 and simulated the excitement of a Broadway theatrical opening night for more than two decades. The plays presented on First Nighter tended to be light comedic romances. The First Nighter Program ran until October 20, 1949 over the Blue, CBS, NBC and Mutual networks and returned for a final season in 1952.
